These Terms & Conditions are an agreement between you and ChatSend LLC, a company registered in Michigan, United States (“ChatSend,” “we,” “us”). By creating a ChatSend account or using the ChatSend app or this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use ChatSend.
1. Acceptance of Terms: By downloading, accessing, or using the Chat send app, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are not permitted to use the app.
Money Sending — A Forthcoming Feature (Not Currently Offered)
ChatSend is currently a communications service. The ChatSend app today provides messaging, group chats, voice texting, voice and video calls, and photo and video sharing (MOODS).
ChatSend does not currently offer money transfer, remittance, wallet, payment, or any other financial services. You cannot send, receive, hold, or withdraw money through ChatSend today, and ChatSend does not hold customer funds.
Money sending is a feature in development. It will be offered only in the markets, and only from the time, where ChatSend has obtained the licences and approvals required by law — including, for our planned first market, mobile money licensing in Uganda, which is currently in progress — and only under separate terms that will be published before the feature launches.
Nothing on this website, in the ChatSend app, or in either app store listing should be read as an offer of financial services today, or as a promise that money-sending features will be available in any particular market or by any particular date.
Do not send money to anyone who claims to be collecting payments on behalf of ChatSend, and never share your ChatSend account details in connection with a request for money. If someone contacts you claiming that ChatSend money transfers are already available, treat it as a scam and report it to us at dlatham@chatsendapp.com.
2. User Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in the jurisdiction where you reside to use the Chat send app. Users under the age of 18 are strictly prohibited from using the app.
3. Account Registration: To access certain features of the app, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. User Content: By using the Chat send app, you may submit content including but not limited to images, text, videos, and other materials. By submitting such content, you grant the app a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, adapt, reproduce, distribute, and display your content for any purpose related to the app.
5. Prohibited Activities: You agree not to use the Chat send app for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose. Additionally, you shall not engage in any activity that could harm, disable, overburden, or impair the app or interfere with any other user’s enjoyment of the app.
6. Intellectual Property: All trademarks, logos, and proprietary rights displayed on the Chat send app are the property of the app or their respective owners. You are strictly prohibited from using, reproducing, or distributing any of these without prior written permission.
7. App Updates: The Chat send app may release updates from time to time. You agree to install all updates promptly to maintain compatibility and functionality.
8. Limitation of Liability: The Chat send app and its owners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the app.
9. Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the app is operated without regard to conflicts of law principles.
10. Amendments: The Chat send app reserves the right to modify or replace any of these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.
11. Termination: The app reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to the app at any time, with or without cause, and without liability to any user.
By using the Chat send app, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
